Job Description

We are hiring a Process Automation Engineer (Level 1) to support the development of automation solutions that improve operational efficiency across enterprise environments.

In this role, you will design and maintain scripts, troubleshoot recurring issues, and build lightweight automation tools using technologies such as PowerShell, Python, Azure services, ServiceNow integrations, and web-based utilities. You will work closely with senior engineers to identify automation opportunities and implement scalable solutions that reduce manual effort and improve reliability.

This role is ideal for engineers early in their careers who enjoy scripting, debugging systems, and solving real-world technical problems through automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop automation scripts using PowerShell and/or Python
• Support maintenance and enhancement of existing automation workflows
• Investigate recurring operational issues and identify automation opportunities
• Assist in integrating automation with ServiceNow and enterprise platforms
• Contribute to Azure-based automation solutions (Functions, Logic Apps, identity workflows)
• Test and validate automation solutions before deployment
• Document automation processes clearly for operational use
• Collaborate with team members on troubleshooting and solution development

Required Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in scripting, automation, IT operations, or similar roles
• Working knowledge of PowerShell or Python
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical thinking skills
• Basic understanding of Windows system administration concepts
• Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON
• Ability to debug scripts using logs and error output
• Willingness to learn new tools and technologies quickly

Preferred Qualifications

• Exposure to Microsoft Azure services
• Experience working with ServiceNow or similar ITSM platforms
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript or web-based tools
• Familiarity with Git or version control systems
• Understanding of authentication and identity concepts (e.g., Entra ID)
• Experience automating repetitive operational tasks
