Job Summary
Insurance Operations Associate will be responsible for managing end-to-end insurance back-office and data processing operations for P&C insurance. The role involves ensuring adherence to client-specific insurance processes, meeting productivity and quality benchmarks, and maintaining strong client relationships. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in insurance operations within a BPO/KPO environment, strong leadership skills, and a deep understanding of insurance workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Excellence:
- Perform insurance-related back-office tasks such as policy issuance, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and claims support.
- Accurately process insurance data in client systems while meeting quality and TAT requirements.
- Follow defined SOPs, SLAs, and client-specific insurance guidelines.
- Validate and update policyholder information and insurance documents..
- Quality and Productivity:
- Meet assigned productivity, accuracy, and turnaround time targets.
- Adhere to quality standards and participate in internal quality audits.
- Rework assigned cases promptly and implement feedback shared by the Team Leader or QA team.
- Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with company policies, data privacy standards, and client requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality of client and policyholder information.
- Keep accurate records related to work completed, productivity, and effort tracking.
- Team Collaboration
- Actively participate in team huddles, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing activities.
- Follow attendance, break schedules, and shift adherence guidelines.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Graduate in any discipline (preferred).
- Experience:
- 2 years of experience in Insurance BPO/KPO or back-office operations (fresher's with relevant training may be considered).
- Skills:
- Basic understanding of insurance processes (policy servicing, claims, underwriting support preferred).
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office tools.
- Ability to work in a target-driven and process-oriented environment.
