Job Title: Senior Process Analyst – Capital Markets (Editorial & Compliance)
Role Objective
We are seeking a meticulous Process Analyst with a specialized background in Proofreading and a robust understanding of Capital Markets. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the absolute accuracy, consistency, and regulatory compliance of high-stakes financial documents, including equity research reports, prospectus drafts, and market commentaries. You will bridge the gap between complex financial data and polished, client-ready communication.
Key Responsibilities
1. Specialized Proofreading & Quality Control
- Perform high-level proofreading of complex Capital Markets documentation, ensuring zero errors in grammar, punctuation, and syntax.
- Verify financial data points, tables, and charts against source documents to ensure consistency and mathematical accuracy.
- Enforce house style guides and branding standards across all published financial content.
- Review blackline or redline versions of documents to track and validate edits through multiple revision cycles.
2. Process Optimization & Analysis
- Analyze existing documentation workflows to identify bottlenecks and implement best-in-class editorial processes.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for document lifecycle management.
- Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for any publication errors and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
3. Capital Markets Domain Alignment
- Ensure all content aligns with current market terminology (e.g., Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, Asset Management).
- Monitor compliance with regulatory bodies (e.g., SEC, FINRA, or FCA standards) regarding financial disclosures and disclaimers.
- Liaise with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Financial Analysts to clarify complex terminology or ambiguous data.
4. Stakeholder Management & Reporting
- Publish weekly and monthly quality dashboards reflecting error rates, turnaround times (TAT), and process health.
- Provide feedback and coaching to junior analysts to improve the overall quality of the talent pool.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 5–10 years of professional experience in a Process Analyst or Quality Assurance role.
- Domain Expertise: At least 4 years of deep exposure to Capital Markets. Must understand the nuances of investment banking, trade lifecycles, or wealth management.
- Core Skill: Exceptional Proofreading skills with an eye for detail that borders on the obsessive. Experience with style guides such as AP, Chicago, or specific banking house styles.
- Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Economics, Communications, or a related field.
Behavioral Competencies
- Adverse Situation Management: Ability to maintain precision under extreme pressure and tight market-driven deadlines.
- Interpersonal Excellence: Strong command over written and spoken English; ability to challenge senior stakeholders on content accuracy diplomatically.
- Flexibility: Willingness to work in a 24x7 environment or shifted hours to align with global market openings (NY/LDN/HK).
What We Offer
- Opportunity to work at the heart of global financial operations.
- A collaborative environment that values both analytical thinking and creative editorial precision.
- Clear career progression into Process Management or Specialized Compliance roles.
