Role Description This full-time, on-site Private Equity Specialist role is based in New Delhi. The Private Equity Specialist will analyze potential investment opportunities, build financial models, and perform detailed due diligence on target companies across sectors such as technology, healthtech, aerospace, and related fields. Responsibilities include supporting deal origination, preparing investment memos and presentations, assisting in transaction structuring, and coordinating with legal, tax, and advisory partners. The role also involves monitoring portfolio performance, tracking key financial and operational metrics, preparing regular reports, and contributing to value-creation initiatives. The Private Equity Specialist will collaborate with global investment teams, participate in market and industry research, and help maintain a strong pipeline of high-quality deals.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong analytical skills, including financial modeling, data analysis, and quantitative problem-solving.
- Candidates should possess solid investments and private equity skills, including deal evaluation, portfolio monitoring, and familiarity with transaction processes.
- Candidates should possess finance and due diligence skills, including understanding of financial statements, valuation methods, risk assessment, and documentation review.
- Relevant academic background such as a degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or a related field; advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CA, MBA) are an advantage.
- Experience in private equity, venture capital, investment banking, consulting, or corporate finance, preferably with exposure to technology or high-growth sectors.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare clear investment reports and present findings to stakeholders.
- Ability to work on-site in New Delhi, manage multiple projects under deadlines, and collaborate effectively with global and cross-functional teams.
