Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Private Cloud Engineer/Architect to design, implement, automate, and manage enterprise private cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with virtualization, software-defined data centers, Kubernetes/container platforms, cloud automation, networking, storage, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable private cloud infrastructure for enterprise environments.
- Manage and administer VMware/VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) or equivalent private cloud platforms.
- Deploy and manage Kubernetes/OpenShift environments and containerized workloads.
- Develop infrastructure automation using Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, or Python.
- Manage compute, storage, networking, load balancing, and disaster recovery components.
- Implement high availability, scalability, backup, and business continuity solutions.
- Integrate private cloud environments with AWS, Azure, or GCP where required.
- Implement cloud security, IAM, encryption, network segmentation, and compliance controls.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, capacity, availability, and utilization.
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure, virtualization, networking, and application issues.
- Create architecture documentation, technical standards, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with application, DevOps, security, network, storage, and infrastructure teams.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership on private cloud initiatives.
