Job Description
- Support the establishment and development of the Bank's private banking business in Singapore, ensuring compliance with MAS regulations and the Bank's internal policies.
- Develop and draft private banking AML/CFT, KYC/CDD/EDD, customer risk assessment and onboarding policies and procedures.
- Draft and review account opening documents, customer agreements, fundamental product/service procedures and other private banking documentation.
- Provide compliance advice on private banking products and services, including deposits, FX, financing, insurance and trust referrals, funds, bonds, equities and structured products.
-Draft relevant system development requirements and specifications, and work with IT and relevant stakeholders on the design and implementation of Private Banking systems and compliance controls.
-Review and advise on Private Banking customer onboarding and ongoing compliance, including KYC/CDD/EDD, SOW/SOF assessment, customer risk assessment, PEP/sanctions screening, periodic reviews, transaction monitoring and regulatory reporting/escalation.
- Other relevant tasks assigned by the department head and team head.
Job Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Banking, Business, Law, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant Private Banking compliance experience in Singapore, preferably with a leading private bank, international bank or established wealth management institution.
- Solid knowledge and practical experience in private banking compliance, AML/CFT,KYC/CDD, sanctions, PEP screening and customer risk assessment.
- Familiarity with MAS regulations and Singapore's AML/CFT regulatory framework.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English and Chinese, with the ability to draft and review compliance and Private Banking documentation in both languages to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking clients and Head Office stakeholders.
- Highly motivated team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
