Role Description:

The global print engineer is responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of printing equipment and software across all Syneos locations around the world. We are instrumental in the transition from traditional on premise local printing to modern, cloud-managed print solutions

• Engineer would be responsible for troubleshooting and resolve printer connectivity issues, perform regular maintenance checks, manage inventory, assist users with queries, and provide technical support
• Collaboration with IT and Site Facility teams, training staff, analyzing printer performance and implementing security measures are also part of their responsibilities
• We are adept at determining the feasibility of new requirements and their compatibility with current systems.
• We take the lead in analyzing and resolving production issues not resolved by Tier 1 or Tier 2 support related to printers.
• We develop, facilitate, and maintain product support materials including run books, technical diagrams, and knowledge bases. Our team makes recommendations for improving the software lifecycle process (deployment, updates, removal) and completes process improvement activities.
• Must maintain compliance with company policies, coordinate with vendors for repair and maintenance services, monitor printer usage, generate reports, and act as a liaison between users and technical teams.

Qualifications

About You:

. You have a solid foundation with 5 years of relevant professional work experience in a large-scale environment supporting 100+ enterprise multiple functional printers.

. Hold a BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with engineering and operational support in a global organization.

. Demonstrated experience supporting managed printer services supporting HP Xerox Canon Konica, Ricoh etc. spanning globally across multiple sites

. You have demonstrated the ability to work independently in a hybrid environment. If this sounds like you, we would love to hear from you!

. Worked in IT engineering or operations support organization to develop & deliver high quality solutions to customers.

. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to innovate in solution design.

. Exposure and familiarity with using any industry leading print management solutions such as Y Soft, PrinterLogic or any industry leading printer management solution.

. Functional experience in the healthcare domain and clinical applications.
