Key Responsibilities:1. Production Management
- Plan and execute daily printing schedules as per job requirements
- Ensure timely completion of jobs without compromising quality
- Monitor machine utilization and reduce downtime
- Ensure all printing tables/machines receive required screens, inks, and other raw materials on time to avoid production delays
2. Machine Handling & Supervision
- Supervise operations of:
- Manual printing machines
- Semi-automatic printing machines
- Roll-to-roll printing machines
- Ensure proper machine setup, alignment, and calibration before each job
- Coordinate with maintenance team for breakdowns and preventive maintenance
3. Quality Control
- Ensure printing output matches approved samples and color standards (Pantone references)
- Monitor print quality, registration, and finishing
- Minimize rejection and wastage
4. Team Management
- Supervise and guide machine operators and helpers
- Allocate jobs based on skill and workload
- Train new operators on machine handling and safety
5. Color Coordination
- Coordinate with color mixing personnel for accurate shade matching
- Ensure proper documentation of Pantone numbers and mixing proportions for each job
6. Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain job records, production reports, and machine logs
- Ensure proper filing of color mixing sheets for repeat jobs
- Report daily production status to management
7. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and proper handling of materials
- Maintain cleanliness and organization on the shop floor
