Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced PCB Layout Design Engineer with strong expertise in the Expedition PCB toolset to lead and execute advanced layout designs for networking and communication products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in high-speed design environments and be capable of working collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and execute end-to-end advanced PCB layout designs using the Expedition PCB tool for networking and communication products.
- Work on constraint-driven PCB design flows, including DDR, HSIO, and LSIO interfaces.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (SI, PI, Package, Design Engineering, EMC, and Platform teams) to ensure seamless co-design integration.
- Participate actively in design reviews, technical discussions, and stakeholder forums.
- Ensure design quality, manufacturability, and adherence to project timelines.
- Present design approaches, methodologies, and outcomes effectively to internal and external stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in PCB layout design engineering using Expedition tools.
- Tool Expertise: Strong hands-on experience with Expedition PCB EDA toolset.
- Design Expertise: Proven experience in constraint-driven layout design for high-speed interfaces (DDR / HSIO / LSIO).
- Cross-Functional Skills: Strong exposure to co-design processes involving IP, Silicon, Package, and Platform teams.
- Communication: Excellent presentation and communication skills to represent design teams across forums.
Preferred / Good to Have
- Experience in Intel chipset motherboard layout (CAD) for server and client platforms.
- Familiarity with Intel IC package design methodologies and process flows.
