Job Description

The Principal / Vice Principal is responsible for providing academic leadership and administrative oversight in a CBSE-affiliated educational institution. The role focuses on maintaining high academic standards, managing faculty and staff, ensuring compliance with CBSE norms, and fostering a positive learning environment for students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage academic and administrative operations of the institution.
  • Ensure effective implementation of CBSE curriculum, policies, and guidelines.
  • Supervise teaching staff, conduct performance evaluations, and support professional development.
  • Monitor academic performance, student discipline, and overall school standards.
  • Coordinate with parents, teachers, and management to achieve institutional goals.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, safety norms, and educational regulations.
  • Promote a positive school culture focused on learning, discipline, and holistic development.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • B.Sc. / M.Sc. with B.Ed. / M.Ed. qualification.
  • 15–19 years of total experience, including 3–5 years in a CBSE educational institution in a leadership role.
  • Strong understanding of CBSE academic frameworks and school administration.
