Principal UX Designer, AVP

We are looking for a senior UX Designer, embedded within our UI framework engineering teams, to provide design leadership and driving high-quality user experiences across components and applications.

Our Platform Engineering organization is innovating and transforming our platform by moving away from monolithic software to utilizing next generation cloud-based technology that leverages Microsoft Azure, AKS, React, etc. The UI Framework team is an integral part of this strategic modernization.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive design solutions in close collaboration with engineers, product managers and UX teams.

  • Own and evolve UI and design patterns aligned with the platform design system.

  • Produce, maintain and contribute to high-quality designs using Figma & related tooling.

  • Ensure accessibility, usability, and consistency across products.

  • Mentor engineers and designers on UI and UX best practices.

  • Be an advocate for AI adoption, ensuring our deliverables are optimized for AI

  • Engage in the agile software development process by adhering to and advancing the CRD scrum methodology, including attending all daily standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives

  • Collaborate with global teams on platform initiatives.

Qualifications:

Recommended Education:

Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related fields applicable to the requirements of this role

Recommended Experience:

  • 12+ years of professional experience in UI/UX or product design.

  • Strong experience working with Figma and modern design systems.

  • Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams.

  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and UX best practices.

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience in financial services is a desired.
