System Engineer is having the responsibility for technical implementation of features/functions and defining the requirement of product in the specified timeframe. This position will require also the ability to lead and organize work for other team members.
Typical activities:
- Create technical solutions for current and new and vehicle programs
- Provides technical leadership for technology development (i.e. explain customer feature and support development team)
- Specifies and balances system requirements
- Support root cause analysis
- Communicates, coordinates, and consults with customer and with global engineering departments
- Stays abreast of new technology and competitive products
Language and Travel:
- Must be fluent in both English and Japanese
- Occasional travel required (domestic and international)
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strongly required work experience with Japanese Automotive OEM.
- Require deep understanding of vehicle infrastructure.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Experience in Automotive OEM products development process, specifications, system and/or software development life cycles such as agile methodology, V development model etc.
- Experience in Technical analysis document development such as FMEA, DFMEA, FTA, etc.
- Knowledge of Electric Circuit Design
- Knowledge of In-Vehicle BUS communication protocol CAN
- Software development and programming in C or C++ is preferred.
