Movius is looking for a
Principal Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) who can
architect, lead, and drive our reliability and performance engineering strategy.
This role blends
strong technical expertise, hands-on automation skills, and architectural thinking to design and improve the reliability, observability, and scalability of our systems.
You will act as the
technical anchor for system reliability and performance, focusing on automation, SLO/SLI measurement, and continuous improvement in operational excellence. While this is not a people management role, you will provide
technical guidance and mentorship to other SRE and DevOps engineers.

What You Bring
Education:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience:
- 15+ years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering.
- At least 4 years in a senior or principal-level SRE role leading automation or reliability initiatives.
- Proven experience in designing and scaling large, distributed, cloud-native platforms.
- Telecom domain experience is an added advantage.
Skills:
- Deep knowledge of AWS (EKS, EC2, RDS, IAM, VPC, Kafka, CloudWatch, API Gateway, Lambda, WAF, KMS).
- Strong experience in Helm Charts, Terraform, Jenkins, Bitbucket, and scripting (Python/Bash/Go).
- Hands-on with Elastic APM or similar tools.
- Solid understanding of SLO/SLI, error budgets, and observability principles.
- Familiar with AIOps, chaos engineering, and event-driven automation.
- Skilled in performance tuning, capacity planning, and reliability testing.
- Strong documentation and communication abilities.
Certifications (Preferred):
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect Professional / DevOps Engineer Professional.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Developer (CKAD).
- SRE Foundation / Google SRE / Elastic Certified Engineer / Dynatrace Performance Professional.
