Role Overview:
We are looking for a technically strong DAML Presales with hands-on expertise in AWS data analytics platforms. advocating for DAML-based solutions integrated with modern AWS data architectures to solve complex business problems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with sales teams and AWS stakeholders to understand client challenges and design DAML-based smart contract solutions coupled with AWS Data Lake and analytics services.
- Deliver compelling demos, PoCs, and technical presentations showcasing DAML solutions and AWS data platforms like Glue, EMR, and Redshift.
- Advocate the strategic use of DAML smart contracts alongside data architectures such as Data Lakes, Lakehouses, and Data Warehouses, balancing performance, cost, and requirements.
- Leverage open table formats (preferably Apache Iceberg) in data modeling and solution design.
- Story tell and communicate effectively to internal sales, marketing teams, AWS partners, and customers on the business value of DAML and AWS data analytics solutions.
- Support large RFP responses by providing detailed technical architecture and data roadmap proposals during the presales stage.
- Build strong relationships with AWS Partner Solution Architects and other stakeholders to identify and drive ongoing business opportunities.
- Stay current on DAML, AWS analytics, and data platform trends to ensure solutions remain innovative and competitive.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- Expert knowledge of AWS data lake components such as Glue, EMR, and Redshift.
- Practical understanding of open table formats, preferably Apache Iceberg.
- Proven ability to position complex solutions balancing requirements, cost, and performance.
- Passion for data analytics and ability to advocate trends and solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Skilled storyteller with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in presales activities including architecture design, large RFP responses, and data roadmap planning.
- Strong collaboration skills and experience working with AWS Partner Solution Architects.
- Intermediate knowledge of data visualization tools (Quick Sight, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) is a plus.
