Job Description
Must-have
12+ years in software engineering, including 4+ years in an architect role delivering platform or SDK-style components used by multiple product teams.
Proven record designing multi-OS, multi-language components for software and firmware adoption, including cross-language bindings (C ABI, FFI, JNI, P/Invoke or similar).
Strong hands-on experience with microservices architecture: API design (REST, gRPC, OpenAPI), service boundaries, resilience patterns and event-driven communication (e.g., Kafka, MQTT).
Deep experience with Docker and container-based deliverables, plus Kubernetes/Helm orchestration and CI/CD pipelines.
Demonstrated success decomposing monoliths into modular, plug-in components in production, not only in design.
Solid grounding in secure software engineering: cryptography fundamentals, PKI, secure storage and secure update mechanisms.
Experience with cross-platform build systems and packaging (e.g., CMake, NuGet, Maven, Conan) and with versioning reusable libraries.
The ability to explain complex architecture to both engineers and business leaders.
Cloud experience (AWS and/or Azure) and observability tooling (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana).
