Principal Software Engineer

Are you a problem solver with very strong Java expertise and a passion for understanding complex migration challenges and reverse-engineering application business logic Then this role is for you!

Design, build, and maintain migration tools that perform ETL on competitive Java-based automation solutions.

Lead the technical direction of migration tooling efforts and mentor other developers.

Collaborate on architecture and design, ensuring alignment with the overall migration framework.

Perform peer code reviews and provide constructive feedback.

Innovate and develop more efficient methods for migrating customer and prospect applications. Identify and resolve issues within existing migration tools and frameworks.

Work closely with stakeholders including Product Management, Field Engineers, and other internal teams to understand needs and refine requirements.

YOUR EXPERIENCE- 7 to 10 Years

Very strong knowledge and hands-on experience with Java development

Experience with development tools such as Git, Jira, and other version/change management platforms.

Solid understanding of graph theory and data structures, as well as the relational databases, flat files, and hierarchical data.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset when analyzing unfamiliar applications or source code.

Experience technically leading a development team, driving quality and architectural alignment. Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with stakeholders like Product Management and Field Engineering teams.

Any experience or understanding of ETL development, including warehouse design and data-loading strategies or tools is a plus.

Bonus: Experience with compiler-like problems, such as forward/backward linking or parsing logic, is a strong plus
