- Drive technical direction across multiple teams, ensuring scalability, reliability, security, and operational excellence across platforms and services.
- Partner with product, engineering, and business leaders to translate complex requirements into innovative and sustainable technology solutions.
- Champion modern engineering practices, automation, observability, and AI-driven efficiencies to improve development velocity and system quality.
- Mentor senior engineers and provide technical leadership that elevates engineering standards, accelerates innovation, and strengthens organisational capability.
- What THIS ROLE Requires
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including significant experience designing and delivering large-scale distributed systems and enterprise platforms.
- Deep expertise in cloud-native architectures, microservices, API design, event-driven systems, and modern software engineering practices.
- Proven ability to influence architecture decisions, lead complex technical initiatives, and drive alignment across multiple engineering teams.
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills with the ability to balance technical excellence and business outcomes.
