A few years ago, we built a product that works. Today, it needs to scale. We're moving from a thick-client architecture to a modern, multi-tenant SaaS platform. Designed for enterprise customers and long-term growth. This isn't a rewrite for the sake of it. It's a deliberate shift in how we build, scale, and think about our product. We're looking for someone who wants to lead that shift.

What this role really is

This is not just another senior engineering role.

You will:

• Define the architecture of our SaaS platform
• Make foundational decisions shaping the product for years
• Work across backend, frontend, database, and infrastructure
• Turn ambiguity into clear technical direction
• Help teams move from what works to what scales

What you'll work on

• Scalable, secure, multi-tenant SaaS architecture
• Transitioning from thick-client to cloud-ready systems
• Backend (Java/Spring Boot), database (PostgreSQL), frontend (React)
• APIs, data models, and system design standards
• Reliability, performance, and maintainability at scale

What we're looking for

• Experience building or transforming systems at scale
• Strong hands-on expertise in Java (Spring Boot), PostgreSQL, React
• Deep understanding of distributed systems and SaaS architecture
• Experience with modernization or re-architecture
• Strong technical decision-making and ownership
• Ability to guide teams without formal authority
