Principal Software Engineer - Java

Education / Qualifications

• Familiarity with Event-Driven Architecture and tools like Apache Kafka.

• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• Good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Practical experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor) for backend development, code review, and test generation.

• Basic understanding of agentic AI patterns, including tool use and multi-step autonomous workflows relevant to backend and IoT automation.

• Awareness of prompt engineering fundamentals and how to leverage LLMs for tasks such as log analysis, anomaly detection, automated documentation, and API contract generation.

• Willingness to experiment with AI-driven approaches to improve development velocity, including using agents for boilerplate generation, test scaffolding, and incident triage support.

• Preferred for quick joiners from product-based companies.
