Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principle/Staff Serdes (Serializer/Deserializer) Design Engineer to join our team. Our team specializes in building next generation high-performance wireline transceivers delivering intellectual-property in advanced nodes.

About the Role

You will work on the development of high-performance and high-speed AMS circuits used in SerDes PHY, including evaluation of different circuit topologies for specific product requirements with best in class power, performance, and area (PPA). This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to define specifications, implement designs, and ensure product performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-speed SerDes circuits, including TX, RX, and PLL components.
• Perform circuit simulation and analysis using industry-standard tools.
• Collaborate with layout engineers to ensure optimal physical design and performance.
• Validate SerDes designs through lab testing and characterization.
• Debug and resolve design issues and provide technical support.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in Serdes design.
• Strong understanding of analog and mixed-signal circuit design principles.
• Experience with high-speed digital design and signal integrity analysis.
• Familiarity with lab equipment for testing and characterization.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
