About the Role

As a Principle Senior IT Auditor within Group Internal Audit (GIA), you'll bring your expertise in Information Technology and Cyber Security to life across a wide range of impactful audit activities. This is your chance to explore Swiss Re's diverse IT domains, deepen your understanding of processes and controls, and engage with topics that shape the organization's risk culture. Whether you're scoping an audit, uncovering insights, or presenting findings to senior stakeholders - your work will genuinely matter.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in a variety of audits end-to-end - from scoping, planning and developing the testing plan, to executing the testing plan and documenting the results, to presenting the findings to the relevant stakeholders and finally writing and issuing the audit report.
  • Collaboration in the audit team - plan and deliver your assigned task and work in close collaboration with the audit team, challenge and coach the audit team to excel by acting as a role model, positively influence the overall audit outcome.
  • Drive technical excellence - apply and leverage your technology expertise to deliver advanced assurance over complex technology topics, support the development of innovative audit techniques by applying automation, AI and data analytics.
  • Workpaper review - review the work of peers and more junior audit team members and provide feedback and coaching.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with IT stakeholders - interact with IT management as part of audits and regular meetings and engage with various stakeholders across the business.
  • Contribute to the development of the audit plan - apply your expertise and use the information gained from stakeholders to provide inputs for future audit topics.

Essentials

  • At least 7 years of work experience in IT auditing and/or practical experience in the field of IT and Cyber security
  • Advanced understanding of IT risk and controls and the underlying technologies, concepts and processes
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt quickly to changing demands and rapidly develop in-depth knowledge of new audit areas
  • Proficiency in English, written and spoken

Nice to Haves

  • Qualified for professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CISSP, CSX-P, CIA, or actively working towards one
  • Experience with cloud services and related security principles
  • Experience with auditing AI systems or familiarity with AI governance and risk frameworks

    Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week
