Role Overview
- Position: Principal / Lead QA Architect
- Experience Required: 1825 years (10+ years in QA Architect/Lead role)
- Focus: Driving enterprise-wide QA strategy, automation architecture, and product quality
Key Responsibilities
- Define and lead enterprise QA strategy across multiple applications/platforms
- Establish test architecture standards (automation, performance, security, reliability)
- Design and scale test automation frameworks (UI, API, mobile, backend)
- Evaluate and implement modern QA tools & technologies
- Provide technical leadership & mentorship to QA teams
- Collaborate with Product, Development, and DevOps teams for end-to-end quality integration
- Define and track quality metrics (test coverage, defect trends, effectiveness)
- Drive Shift-Left testing and CI/CD-based quality practices (CI/CT)
- Promote continuous improvement and innovation in QA processes
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging QA practices
Required Skills & Expertise
- Strong expertise in QA methodologies, frameworks, and testing processes
- Hands-on experience with automation tools: Selenium, Cypress, Appium, TestNG, JUnit
- Proficiency in programming languages: Java / Python / Angular
- Experience with CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, Build Piper
- Knowledge of:
- Microservices testing
- Containerization (Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- Cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
Education
- B.Tech / MCA or equivalent (Computer Science / Engineering preferred)
