Principal Product Manager - Lending

Job Purpose :

This position is responsible to drive the lending strategy, development, and performance, ensuring a seamless user experience aligned with business goals. This role collaborates across teams, leverages data for continuous improvement, and optimizes engagement to enhance customer satisfaction and business growth.

Key Responsibilities :

a) Product Strategy and Roadmap : Define the lending product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with the company's business objectives and customer needs. Prioritize product features based on business impact, feasibility, and customer feedback.

b) Customer-Centric Development : Collaborate with UX/UI designers to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that provide a smooth and engaging experience for our customers.

c) Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure successful product delivery and continuous iteration based on market feedback and analytics.

d) Product Lifecycle Management : Oversee the entire product lifecycle from concept through launch and post-launch performance monitoring. Conduct A/B tests, gather data, and refine the app based on analytics and user feedback.

e) Market Research & Competitive Analysis : Keep abreast of industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to drive continuous improvement and innovation in lending space.

f) Stakeholder Management : Act as the main point of contact for respective product related communication with stakeholders including senior management, marketing, and engineering teams.

g) Performance Metrics : Define and monitor KPIs to track app performance and user engagement, providing regular updates to leadership and recommending adjustments based on results.

Job Requirements :

• Master's degree in business, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 12+ years of experience in Lending Product Management, preferably in the Fintech, Banking or NBFC sector.
• Strong knowledge of product development processes, including experience in Two-Wheeler Loans, Used Car Loans and Mobile Applications.
• Proven track record of launching and managing successful lending products that drive customer engagement and business growth.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and marketing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data and insights into actionable product
• strategies.
• Familiarity with mobile analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.) and app store optimization (ASO).
• Knowledge of financial products, especially in the NBFC space & in lending.
• Experience with agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Understanding of mobile app security and compliance regulations, especially related to financial data.
