Principal Product Engineer Digital & Signoff Group

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Expertise & Support

• Serve as primary technical expert for place-and-route (P&R) and RTL-to-GDSII flows.
• Support internal development teams and external customers on complex physical design issues.
• Apply deep knowledge of ASIC design flow, timing analysis, and advanced node optimization.

Product Development & Collaboration

• Collaborate with R&D teams to track, diagnose, and resolve software issues.
• Ensure robust tool release cycles and product evolution.
• Partner with Product Marketing to align technical capabilities with market requirements.

Design Benchmarking & Optimization

• Execute competitive benchmarks to demonstrate superiority in Power, Performance, and Area (PPA).
• Develop RTL-to-GDSII methodologies and customized scripts for specific customer design goals.

Flow Development & Automation

• Enhance design methodologies and implement efficient flows for advanced semiconductor nodes.
• Utilize scripting (Tcl, Python, Perl) to automate design tasks and improve productivity.

Customer & Stakeholder Engagement

• Interface with global customers to resolve complex design and implementation challenges.
• Translate technical issues into actionable solutions and clear communication.
