Principal Presales Cloud Architect - Enterprise

Oracle is seeking asenior enterprise cloud architect to drivepresales solutioning and technical engagement for large enterprise customers onOracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This is anindividual contributor role requiring strong technical depth, executive presence, and hands-on engagement across customer leadership, architects, developers, and operations teams.

Experience & Qualifications

• 12+ years of overall IT experience with strongenterprise customer-facingexperience (Presales, Solution Architecture, Consulting).
• Hands-on experience withOracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) (experience on AWS/Azure/GCP is acceptable).
• Proven experience working withlarge, complex enterprise environments.
• Deep expertise inInfrastructure, Applications, or Data platforms with clear exposure toAI-enabled architectures and use-cases.
• Strong executive communication, whiteboarding, and storytelling skills (must-have).
• Comfortable engagingacross levels - from business leaders to architects, developers, and ops teams.

Technical Skills

• OCI IaaS / PaaS, hybrid cloud and migration patterns.
• Enterprise networking, security, high availability, and DR on OCI.
• Modern data platforms, analytics, and data-driven architectures.
• Generative AI and agentic architecture concepts ability to support discovery, pilots, and production workloads.
• Cloud-native applications, containers, Kubernetes, DevOps, and IaC.
• Enterprise database exposure Oracle Database / Exadata (Preferred).
• Exposure to open-source and commercial databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL).
• General understanding of enterprise SaaS and core business systems preferred.

Preferred

• Cloud certifications (OCI preferred).

Enterprise experience in BFSI, Healthcare, Large Enterprise Accounts

The ideal candidate bringsdeep technical expertise in one core area - Infrastructure, Applications, or Data - with strong working knowledge across the others, and clear exposure toAI-enabled architectures and use cases.

Key Responsibilities

• Ownenterprise cloud architecture and solution design for OCI across presales engagements.
• Act as atrusted technical advisor to CIOs, CTOs, Chief Architects, and Data & AI leaders.
• Work closely withapplication architects, developers, and operations teams to validate designs and adoption approaches.
• Partner with Sales toshape and close complex enterprise cloud opportunities.
• Design enterprise cloud architectures supportinginfrastructure takeouts - on-premises and non-OCI cloud migrations to OCI,modern applications, data platforms, and AI-enabled workloads.
• Engage business and technology leaders todiscover, pilot, and productionize AI (including agentic) use cases that deliver measurable ROI.
• Driveexecutive presentations, whiteboarding sessions, and architecture discussions.
• Support sizing, capacity planning, and TCO/ROI conversations.
