Job Description

Measures of Success

  • In three months, you will:
  • Formulate digital strategy for your clients businesses, ensuring recommendations are consistent with their objectives.
  • Offer newer media options and help build a strong media product.
  • Stay abreast of current events in target markets that could impact client business.
  • In six months, you will:
  • Support the training of digital staff and provide recommendations for managing their career paths.
  • Train your direct reports on media, marketing disciplines, and the specifics of the client's business and industry.
  • In 12 months, you will:
  • Oversee the media financial management and profitability of the client's account.

What Your Day Job Looks Like at Mindshare

  • Formulate and lead digital strategy for client businesses, ensuring all recommendations align with their objectives.
  • Take a lead role in integrating all of the client's media efforts, demonstrating a full understanding of their business.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of third-party research methodology and use data to shape client conversations.
  • Promote GroupM's ambition and values by building strong relationships with key media owners.
  • Investigate new opportunities from a broad perspective to determine their appropriateness and soundness.
  • Manage GroupM's digital planning and implementation resources and partner agencies to ensure timely, high-quality programs.
  • Continuously seek innovative and breakthrough ideas, approaches, and solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging digital trading platforms, identifying beneficial ones and advising on their implementation.

What You'll Bring

  • A strong understanding of the new-age digital ecosystem, with a focus on programmatic and data-based media approaches.
  • Excellent understanding of media fundamentals, including media math, target audience development, and communication goals.
  • Sharp strategic thinking and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team, organizing multiple assignments for both yourself and your direct reports.
  • Adherence to tight deadlines while delivering flawless work.
  • Extremely business-minded and detail-oriented, with proven organizational skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability in training and leadership.
  • Genuine curiosity and interest in your client and their business.
  • Digital savvy, with proficiency in MS Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).

Minimum Qualifications

  • 12+ years of related media/communications planning experience, with a focus on team leadership and management.
  • Post-graduate degree preferred, with a concentration in advertising, marketing, business administration, or communications.
