Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Gift City, Ahmedabad, India, for a Principal Officer - VC Fund at AdvantEdge Founders. The Principal Officer will oversee fund operations, ensure regulatory compliance with GIFT IFSC regulations, manage investor relations, and lead fund audit and financial reporting processes. Additional responsibilities include handling investment transactions, monitoring portfolio performance, and supporting strategic decision-making aligned with the fund's goals.

Qualifications

• Understanding of venture capital, private equity, and investment fund management
• Expertise in regulatory compliance, fund auditing, and financial reporting
• Strong skills in investor relations and communication
• Analytical skills and experience with portfolio performance tracking
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to handle high-pressure deadlines effectively
• Professional or Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience in the financial services or VC domain is preferred
• Understanding of GIFT City regulations and compliance is an added advantage
• Overall experience of 5-10 years, with at least five (5) years in related activities in the securities market or financial products including in a portfolio manager, broker dealer, investment advisor, wealth manager, research analyst or fund management.
