Overview: Architect the containerized 5G core and intelligent failover logic. While management APIs use Node.js, the core networking logic requires high-concurrency languages for performance.
Years of Experience: 10+ years in Network Architecture / Telecommunications.
Detailed Responsibilities:
- Deploy, scale, and maintain Open5GS (or similar open-source 5G cores) in edge-cloud environments.
- Architect & develop Auto-PACE multi-link failover logic in Go to manage traffic across SATCOM, 5G, and MANET links based on real-time link quality and mission intent.
- Design & configure secure IP anchoring and tunneling using WireGuard and BGP routing.
- Implement SEPP (Security Edge Protection Proxy) for secure interconnects between nodes.
- Build Node.js-based management services to provide telemetry to the React Native mobile app.
Technical Requirements:
- Expert-level knowledge of 3GPP 5G Core (5GC) architecture.
- Mastery of Linux Networking, BGP, OSPF, and advanced IP routing.
- Strong experience with Kubernetes/Docker at the Heavy Edge.
Good to Have:
- Experience with SD-WAN orchestration logic.
- Familiarity with private network regulatory requirements.
