Principal .NET Backend Engineer

We are seeking a Principal .NET Backend Engineer to join our team. The role involves designing and developing enterprise-scale backend applications using ASP.NET Core, C#, and Microsoft Azure, while leading architecture discussions and technical mentorship.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend applications using ASP.NET Core and C#.
• Architect cloud-native Microservices and Distributed Systems on Microsoft Azure.
• Design secure, high-performance REST APIs and event-driven applications.
• Lead architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical mentoring.
• Design and implement messaging solutions using Azure Service Bus.
• Troubleshoot production issues, perform RCA, and optimize application performance.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD, AKS deployments, and cloud infrastructure.
• Establish engineering standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.
• Review AI-generated code and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in .NET backend development.
• Expertise in ASP.NET Core, C#, and microservices architecture.
• Experience designing cloud-native solutions on Microsoft Azure.
• Strong knowledge of distributed systems, performance optimization, and system design.
• Proven technical leadership and mentoring experience.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and container orchestration (AKS).

• Advanced understanding of event-driven architecture and Azure Service Bus.
• Experience with Terraform, Bicep, and Azure infrastructure-as-code.
• Knowledge of DDD, CQRS, and clean architecture principles.
