Role Overview:
As a Principal Fabric Architect, you will be the visionary for our data strategy. You will oversee the entire tenant-level architecture, ensuring that Microsoft Fabric aligns with global business objectives, security standards, and cost-efficiency models.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define the enterprise-wide Fabric Tenant settings and organizational domain structures.
- Design hybrid-cloud strategies integrating Fabric with external sources (AWS S3, GCP, Snowflake).
- Lead the adoption of Real-Time Intelligence (KQL databases) and AI integration via Fabric Copilot.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for executive leadership on ROI, capacity planning, and scalability.
- Standardize development practices across multiple business units to ensure a Single Source of Truth.
Technical Requirements:
- 9-10+ years of experience in Data Architecture and Business Intelligence.
- Expertise in Cloud Economics (managing F-SKUs and cost-benefit analysis).
- Advanced knowledge of Delta Lake protocols and Parquet storage optimization.
- Strong leadership background with experience managing multi-disciplinary data teams.
