Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership:
- Act as the technical lead for Azure Infrastructure, guiding a team of consultants through successful SAP migrations and infrastructure builds.
Hands-On Expertise:
- Leverage your extensive experience across applications, databases, networking, and operating systems to design and implement robust Azure solutions.
Client Engagement:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, delivering tailored solutions that meet their unique needs and exceed expectations.
Continuous Learning & Innovation:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure technologies, tools, and best practices. Apply innovative solutions to complex challenges, thinking outside the box to conceptualize new designs and workflows.
Proactive Problem Solving:
- Identify and implement proactive solutions that prevent future issues and reduce costs for customers who have migrated their SAP systems to Azure.
Automation & Optimization:
- Advocate for and implement automation of infrastructure and basis activities to maximize efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
Mentorship & Team Support:
- Mentor junior consultants, sharing knowledge and expertise to support their development and the overall success of the team.
Emergency Response & RCA:
- Lead emergency response efforts, assist in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations, and conduct Technical Deep Dives when necessary.
Tooling & Methodology Improvement:
- Continuously improve and evolve Bright Tier s tooling and methodologies to enhance service delivery.
Out-of-Hours Support:
- Provide out-of-hours support as required on the support role
Qualifications:
- Proven ability to lead small teams and deliver successful customer outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively within globally diverse teams.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Extensive hands-on experience with engineering and configuring cloud infrastructures using automation tools.
- Technical understanding of Azure IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS offerings.
- Deep expertise in Azure compute, storage, networking, load balancing, and container management.
- Proficiency in SUSE, RHEL, and Windows operating systems.
- Strong understanding of networking principles and implementation.
- Experience with system and environment hardening.
- Familiarity with application and infrastructure management and monitoring tools.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure and deliver results in challenging circumstances.
- Execution of periodic infrastructure and security checklists in existing environments.
- General infrastructure maintenance functions based on SysAid ticketing system and Internal RAAID actions.
- Azure Certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert).

- Additional certifications, such as:
- Azure Security Engineer Associate
- Azure Network Engineer Associate
- Azure DevOps Engineer Expert
- Other relevant Azure certifications
