Principal Infotainment Tuner Engineer

We are looking for a Principal Software Engineer specializing in Infotainment Tuner development for next-generation smart cockpit systems. You will work on advanced radio/tuner features, Android Automotive layers, and integration with modern automotive SoCs.

Responsibilities:

Develop and integrate tuner features (AM/FM/DAB/HD Radio/SDARS) within the infotainment domain

Implement and design software in an object-oriented environment (C/C++/Java/Python)

Work with Automotive Android OS (AOSP) at HAL and Middleware layers

Integrate tuner stacks with hardware and audio subsystems

Debug using tools such as GDB, JTAG, Lauterbach, BDI, ADB and logs

Ensure Functional Safety, ASPICE and software quality standards

Optimize performance on automotive SoCs and microcontrollers

Work with Linux, Android, QNX and hypervisor environments

Use communication protocols such as HTTPs, Websocket, RTP and interfaces like Ethernet, UART, SPI

Collaborate with suppliers, algorithm vendors and cross-functional cockpit teams

Contribute to Agile Scrum development and support TDD practices

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field

8+ years of experience in embedded or infotainment software development

Strong experience in the infotainment domain, ideally on domain controller platforms

Hands-on experience with Android Automotive OS (AOSP), especially HAL/Middleware

Deep experience in tuner systems: AM, FM, DAB/DAB+, HD Radio, SiriusXM

Strong debugging, integration and system-level problem-solving skills
