Responsibilities include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Design and develop advanced Power BI semantic models, reports, and dashboards, ensuring end-to-end automation to eliminate manual work
- Collaborate closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate these needs into visually appealing Power BI solutions that deliver business value
- Work with internal team, including data engineers and business analysts, to align on project requirements and ensure successful project delivery
- Work jointly with other Power BI developers to create and maintain standards and a consistant look and feel across the HR Power BI catalog
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues to ensure data accuracy and integrity
- Maintain clear documentation for all Power BI development
- Continuously improve and optimize existing Power BI solutions to enhance performance and user experience
- Stay up to date with the latest Power BI features and trends
MUST HAVE: MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field
- 12+ years of proven experience as a Power BI developer or similar role
- Extensive experience in developing and optimizing Power BI, including DAX, Power Query, and report development
- Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization concepts
- Proficiency with SQL and the ability to write complex queries
NICE TO HAVE: PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms like Snowflake or Data Bricks
- Familiarity using wireframing tools like Balsamiq or Mokkup.ai
- Understanding of Power Automate for data workflow automation
- Experience working with and visualizing Human Resources data
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong project management skills with the ability to switch between assignments and work to deadlines
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional and remote teams
