Principal Facility Engineer

Technical Leadership

• Serve as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for facility engineering.
• Lead conceptual studies, FEED, detailed engineering, and brownfield modifications.
• Review and approve engineering deliverables and technical decisions.
• Ensure alignment with project objectives, safety standards, and best practices.
  
  

Facility Engineering

• Develop and review facility design basis, layouts, and system configurations.
• Support equipment selection, utilities design, and process integration.
• Ensure compliance with API, ASME, ISO, IEC, and company standards.
• Participate in HAZID, HAZOP, SIL, and design reviews.
  
  

Project & Operational Support

• Provide technical solutions during design, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
• Support troubleshooting, debottlenecking, and facility optimization.
• Drive reliability and lifecycle performance improvements.
  
  

Stakeholder & Team Management

• Interface with clients, EPC contractors, licensors, and vendors.
• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Support proposal development and technical evaluations.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Chemical / Process Engineering (Master's preferred).
• 15–20+ years of oil & gas facility engineering experience.
• Chartered Engineer or equivalent certification preferred.
