Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Automation Test Engineer / QA Engineer with 5–8 years of experience in UI, API, Android, Desktop, Functional, and Automation Testing.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright.
• Develop and execute automated tests for web/UI applications.
• Perform API testing for RESTful and other application interfaces.
• Create and maintain reusable automation frameworks and test utilities.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
• Test Android applications across different devices, screen sizes, and OS versions.
• Perform testing of desktop applications and validate application functionality, usability, and stability..
• Participate in requirement reviews, test planning, defect triage, and release activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve test coverage, automation efficiency, and overall QA processes.
• Troubleshoot automation failures and determine whether failures are due to application defects, test scripts, or environment issues.
  
  

Required Technical Skills

Playwright Automation

• Strong hands-on experience with Playwright automation.
• Experience developing UI automation scripts using Playwright with JavaScript/TypeScript or equivalent language.
• Experience with locators, assertions, waits, fixtures, test hooks, parallel execution, and reporting.
• Experience designing reusable and maintainable automation frameworks.
• Experience with cross-browser testing.
  
  

API Testing

• Strong experience in API testing.
• Hands-on experience testing REST APIs.
• Knowledge of HTTP methods, status codes, headers, authentication, request/response validation, and JSON/XML.
• Experience with tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent.
• Ability to automate API test scenarios.
  
  

UI Testing

• Strong understanding of web/UI testing methodologies.
• Experience validating UI functionality, workflows, data validation, usability, and browser compatibility.
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, DOM, and basic JavaScript is preferred.
• Experience with responsive web application testing.
  
  

Android Testing

• Experience testing Android mobile applications.
• Hands-on experience with functional and regression testing on Android devices/emulators.
• Knowledge of Android application lifecycle, device compatibility, permissions, notifications, and application behavior.
• Exposure to Appium or equivalent mobile automation tools is preferred.
  
  

Desktop Application Testing

• Experience testing Windows/Desktop applications.
• Ability to validate application workflows, installation, configuration, integrations, and functional behavior.
• Experience with desktop application automation tools is an advantage.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
