Detailed Description:

  • Conduct thorough visual inspection, system-level testing, and teardown analysis of warranty returns.
  • Conduct detailed root cause analysis of returned parts using diagnostic tools, bench testing, and simulation environments.
  • Apply domain knowledge in vehicle subsystems to isolate the root cause under time-critical conditions.
  • Derive system-level validation frameworks to drive timely and accurate resolution.
  • Collaborate with hardware, software, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to validate findings.
  • Contribute with functional teams to evolve structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone, FTA)
  • Warranty returns management through Jira, document analysis evidence and transitions in timely manner.
  • Identify trends and recurring issues to support design and process improvements.
  • Support WEC Leader in standardizing investigation processes and best practices.
  • Support CQEs by detailing findings and collaborating cross-functionally for corrective action.
  • Identify the opportunities to deploy AI technologies to automate the analytics and reports.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
  • 4-6 years of experience in automotive electronics or quality engineering.
  • Knowledge in Hardware testing diagnostic tools, Vehicle network, and failure mode investigation.
  • Familiarity with structured problem-solving (e.g., 8D, DFMEA, 5 Whys)
  • Knowledge of systems-level concepts of vehicle architectures and ECU interactions
  • Good written/oral English communication for cross-team interface.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
