Principal Engineer, VP

As a Principal Engineer, you will design and engineer customer-centric, high-performance, secure, and robust software solutions. You will contribute to the architecture, design, and engineering Centre of Excellence, drive innovation, and improve the bank's overall software engineering capability. This role offers exposure to stakeholders and the opportunity to mentor and guide teams while advancing technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create innovative software solutions and technology designs focused on customer outcomes.
• Collaborate with domain and enterprise architects to validate and leverage architectural designs across contexts.
• Design, develop, test, and implement complex software, scripts, and tools to support bank platforms, applications, and services.
• Provide governance and oversight of engineering solutions with a focus on automation, resilience, security, scalability, performance, and reusability.
• Define and develop architecture models and roadmaps for applications and software components, ensuring usability across products and domains.
• Apply Agile and DevOps practices, including automation of build, test, and deployment activities, and maintain coding best practices.
• Guide and mentor engineering teams, review code quality, and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
