About the Role: We are seeking a Principal Engineer with refinery experience for Genesis Department which is into consulting and advisory for Noida location
Responsibility
- Delivery and working on technically complex Advisory and Consulting Services within proposals, studies, projects execution & operations, as part of a study &/or project team, in accordance with design & engineering standards & procedures, schedule and budget, with a continuous focus on quality standards, targets and customer satisfaction
- Lead a team working on Feasibility Study, Conceptual Study and Revamp Study as per the project requirement
- Doing process simulation, adequacy checking of existing equipment and design of new equipment for any Open-Art process un
- Prepare process specifications, drawings (PFD, P&ID's etc.) and process deliverables such as H&M balances, Material selection diagram, P&I Diagrams, Equipment sizing, Equipment list, Process data sheets for Equipment and Instrumentation, Hydraulics Calculation, Control Valve Calculation, Safety Relief Load calculations, Control philosophy, Cause & Effect diagrams, Utility, Chemical and Effluent summaries e
- Accountable for successful completion of assigned tasks and deliverable
- Maintain documentation as per quality procedure
- Provide necessary inputs required for proposal tender
- Responsible for maintaining client interface while executing study/project
- Liaise with the Market study consultant or third party assistance for the necessary inputs required for the Feasibility Stu
- Liaise with Engineering disciplines, procurement, cost estimation for the necessary inputs required for the study
- Liaise with other offices (within country/outside country) for delivery of projects while working on projects executed through multicenter
- Have an understanding of confidentiality, Non-Disclosure Agreements and management of intellectual property (IP) between licensor
- Participate in Genesis Community of Practice (COP) meeting as and when required
- Keep up to date with new developments of standards, process software, other digital tools, procedures and implement it to the day to day work
- Work in compliance with all safety rules and regulations and maintain quality
Qualification
- B.Tech / M.Tech in Chemical engineering from reputed university
- 10 – 15 years experience in Advisory and Consulting Services with specific experience in Feasibility/Conceptual Studies for Refining industry
- Background of Process Engineering with thorough hands on experience on various Refinery Units, Process simulation, developing and evaluating project economics is essential
- Good communication skills and proficiency in Report writing is must
- Minimum 7 years experience in design of Refinery Process Units is highly desirable
Preferred Skills:
Process Simulation tools like ASPEN HYSYS and/or PRO II, HTRI, PIPENET, FLARENET. Additional skills like dynamic simulation, LP Modelling, etc. will be given preference
