Principal engineer SoC connectivity

In your new role you will:

• A degree in electrical / electronic /communications engineering, computer science, physics or a related technical field.
• At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in the field ofmixed signal semiconductors, SoC architecture, IC design, test, characterization or related fields.
• Experience in UNIX and Window, MS-Office (PowerPoint, Excel) andversioning tools like GIT or Clearcase/Perforce.
• Good experience in using languages like PYTHON, TCL, JAVA, C forprogramming, scripting, data manipulation or data visualization.
• Know how in chip definition languages like VHDL, SV-Verilog would beideal.
• Excellent communication and coordination skills in English.
• The candidate should be able to work independently, but also beteam-oriented and open to innovative approaches and methods in avolatile environment.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:

• Define and create chip level connectivity and power concept formicro controller products within a team.
• Use an IFX internal tooling for automated chip level connectivitygeneration, with the task to improve the workflow by scripting anddriving improvements with development team.
• Releasing and versioning of design steps and data in alignment withother teams.
• Perform quality checks with respective status assessment and reportingusing tools like simulators or code checkers.
• Development of new methodologies, service/debugging/bug fixing ofexisting tools and software.
• Programming and scripting to improve efficiency of work process in theteam.
