What you'll achieve

The Data Protection Sr Engineer, Service Delivery will be responsible for the Dell customer's Data Protection environment end to end support including new and ongoing engagements as per the subjected obligations, SLA, and processes and provide technical expertise in the Data Protection space.

You will:

• Responsible for project success, SLA/process adherence, Incident, Change and Problem management, infrastructure management, maintenance, review, and recommend on Data Protection, Virtualization, Cloud, Storage, Systems, Network, Capacity solutions.
• Responsible for performing daily operational tasks and maintaining availability at the customer site(s). Provisions solutions based on standardized procedures as outlined by Dell Technology best practice documentation.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills with proven track record of successful Incident Management, participates in the design and operational execution of the customer's disaster recovery process as required.
• Acts as expert for the Managed Services teams in the plan, manage, and delivery of DTMS support solutions.
• Advises teams of IT technology standard requirements, methodology and processes, drives short-term and long-term solutions, projects, initiatives, knowledge transfer, for the for key business segments supported by DTMS

Essential Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in Data Protection product suites, experience on module backup such as Oracle, SQL, NDMP and VADP over PPDM/Networker /Data Domain/ECS, and DPA custom report config
• PPDM/Networker client migrations, Patch Management , Performance Tuning, Cloning configuration, troubleshooting, Staging, Media Management, Disaster Recovery and new device provisioning in production.
• In Depth Knowledge on PPDM,Networker and Data domain,Modules like databases, VM backups, Data Domain, Solid knowledge on backup and restore skills.
• Skills on Storage and virtualization will be added advantage

Desirable Requirements

• ITIL Foundation and intermediate module
• PPDM , Networker , Data domain, ECS | Data Protection Advisor
