Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Azure Stack HCI / Azure Local Engineer with strong expertise in hybrid cloud and virtualization environments. The role involves designing, deploying, and managing Azure Stack HCI clusters integrated with on-premises datacenters and Azure services. The candidate will work on software-defined compute, storage, and networking, including Storage Spaces Direct (S2D) and Azure Arc-enabled services. Hands-on experience with VMware (vCenter, ESXi, vSAN) and NSX is required, along with migration of workloads between VMware and Azure platforms. Responsibilities include managing infrastructure operations, monitoring, automation, patching, and disaster recovery. The role also requires proficiency in Azure Monitor, PowerShell, and infrastructure-as-code tools. The ideal candidate will have 8–12 years of experience, strong knowledge of Windows/Linux systems, and the ability to manage enterprise-scale hybrid environments. Relevant Azure and VMware certifications are preferred for this position.
