Job Description

Join our team as a Principal Engineer and lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and production engineering for cutting-edge IoT products. In this role, you will own product characterization from design through production, drive post-silicon debug and validation, and collaborate with design, test, reliability, process, and manufacturing teams to resolve yield, quality, and production challenges. You will also lead process improvement initiatives, enhance data analytics capabilities, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality, cost-effective products to production.

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

  • Lead New Product Introduction (NPI) and production support engineering activities for IoT products.
  • Drive product bring-up, characterization, post-silicon debug, and validation from design phase through production release.
  • Collaborate with Design, Test, Reliability, Process, and Manufacturing teams to resolve product and production issues related to yield, quality, and stability.
  • Own and deliver characterization (Char) milestones, ensuring high-quality and timely execution.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance manufacturing efficiency, improve yields, and reduce production costs.
  • Analyze production and characterization data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Lead planning, prioritization, stakeholder coordination, and execution of engineering deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with internal engineering processes, quality standards, and project requirements.
  • Develop and enhance data analytics capabilities by consolidating data sources and enabling faster, automated analysis and reporting.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to support successful product ramp-up and sustained production performance.

Your profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
  • 9+ years of product engineering experience in digital, mixed-signal, RF, or SoC semiconductor products.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and production flows, including wafer processing, assembly, and production testing.
  • Hands-on experience with product characterization, yield analysis, failure analysis, and production support.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis techniques and data analysis tools for product and manufacturing optimization.
  • Experience working with complex semiconductor products and driving issue resolution across multiple engineering disciplines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address high-complexity technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and technical leadership skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global teams.
  • RF product experience is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with Automated Test Equipment (ATE), preferably Teradyne UltraFLEX and/or Advantest V93000 (93K), is an added advantage.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead initiatives, drive continuous improvement, and deliver results in a fast-paced product engineering environment.
