Principal Engineer (FullStack -DevOps + Cloud Platform)

Job description

We are looking for a highly experienced and hands-onPrincipal Engineerto join our engineering platform team. This individual will be responsible forend-to-end ownership of the toolchainrequired for software development, from build to release. As afull stack engineer, you will not only manage senior engineers but also play a crucial role in shaping DevOps and cloud engineering strategy.

Job Description :

• A minimum of 13 years in a technology or digital product development environment
• Experience of using modern web development languages like Java, Node, Python
• Implementation of our Engineering Standards & Principles into the teams.
• A sound understanding of CICD pipeline and key behaviours we need to implement as part of a DevOps Pipeline.
• Helping define the Engineering Standards & Principles.
• Core understanding of CICD Tools such as BitBucket/Teamcity and Artifactory
• development is essential to understanding why we're building the platform of choice.
• Supporting Cloud First strategy: using AWS, Azure plus other Cloud and SaaS services
• Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written
• Shares knowledge, information and expertise, collaborates with others to achieve a common purpose.
• Ability to maintain composure in a high pressure work environment

Desired Profile-

• The ideal candidate is a full-stack engineer with 13+ years of experience, including 4-5 years in engineering management.
• Strong AWS, Kubernetes, and DevOps/GitOps experience are essential.
• The role involves managing a small team of senior engineers
• Cloud experience is manadatory ,prefereably AWS
