Black & White Engineering is growing its Mechanical Engineering team in Gurgaon and is looking for a Principal Engineer – Mechanical who can bring technical expertise, project ownership, and leadership capability to deliver innovative and practical MEP solutions.

About the Role

Reporting to the Associate Director – Mechanical, the Principal Engineer – Mechanical will play a key role in delivering high-quality mechanical engineering solutions while supporting project teams and global stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading mechanical engineering design delivery across projects.
• Providing technical leadership and guidance to engineering teams.
• Coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams to achieve successful outcomes.
• Managing project deliverables, timelines, priorities, and resources.
• Reviewing engineering outputs to ensure quality and compliance.
• Supporting mentoring, coaching, and development of engineers.
• Identifying opportunities for innovation and process improvement.
• Preparing technical documentation, reports, and project deliverables.
• Supporting effective project planning and quality assurance processes.

Key Experience & Skills

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Engineer with:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification.
• Strong experience in MEP consultancy and building services design.
• Proven experience managing mechanical engineering projects.
• Ability to independently deliver projects while collaborating with global teams.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems and mechanical design principles.
• Experience with engineering tools including:
• HAP
• Pipe Flow
• Navisworks
• BIM 360
• Microsoft Excel
