Role Description The Principal Electrical Engineer will lead and oversee electrical engineering design and delivery for building and infrastructure projects in India and global markets. This full-time hybrid role is based in Noida, with flexibility for partial work from home, and involves managing project requirements, developing electrical system designs, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading design teams, preparing and reviewing drawings, specifications, and calculations, coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams, and providing technical guidance and mentoring to colleagues. The role will also involve stakeholder communication, participation in design reviews, value engineering, and supporting bid proposals and project planning. The Principal Electrical Engineer will contribute to continuous improvement, quality assurance, and implementation of best practices across electrical engineering projects.
Qualifications

• Strong expertise in core electrical engineering, including Electrical Engineering and Electricity concepts, with the ability to apply them to complex projects.
• Proficiency in Electrical Design for buildings and infrastructure, including load calculations, equipment selection, and detailed schematics.
• Solid experience in Power Distribution systems, covering LV/MV distribution, panel boards, switchgear, and protection schemes.
• In-depth knowledge of Power Systems, including system studies, reliability, and integration with renewable and backup power sources.
• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline from an accredited institution.
• Significant experience (typically 10+ years) in consulting or design engineering, with a track record of leading medium to large projects.
• Familiarity with relevant international and Indian standards, codes, and regulations, and experience using industry design software and BIM tools.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams, mentor junior engineers, manage client relationships, and coordinate with multidisciplinary stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical report-writing skills, with clear verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet project deadlines.
