Principal Design Engineer

Job description

• Actively participate on the global IP Quality Team
• Help define and implement a robust quality management plan
• Drive continuous quality improvement throughout the organization
• Reach across the design organization to implement improvements to flows and procedures
• Perform Root-Cause-Analysis and identify Corrective Actions
• Assist design teams in preparation of Failure Analysis reports
• Generate quality metrics and defect metrics. Analyze trends and report to management.
• Define and maintain quality procedures for the design organization
• Maintain quality certifications such ISO9001 and ISO26262
• Monitor and educate the team on correct use of bug tracking systems
• Hold project post-mortem reviews and communicate results
• Support participation in external semiconductor foundry quality programs

Requirements:

• Education : BSEE
• Hands-on experience in one or more areas of analog or digital IC design or verification.
