Principal Data Steward - Finance

As a Principal Data Steward, you will play a key role in managing and ensuring the accuracy and consistency of finance master data. You will work across SAP and Oracle platforms, ensuring both systems stay in sync. Your expertise will be critical in reconciling finance data during the Enterprise Transformation, performing data cleansing, and ensuring high data quality across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure the availability, consistency, reliability, and security of finance data across systems.
• Maintain and enforce master data standards and conceptual models.
• Manage finance data blocks in SAP (Company Codes, Cost Center, Profit Center, etc.), including mapping changes between SAP and Oracle.
• Reconcile and maintain finance data, ensuring seamless integration during enterprise transformation.
• Implement and monitor data quality rules and generate reports to address recurring issues.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to maintain and improve financial data systems.
• Actively research and resolve data quality issues, working closely with Data Stewards.

Skills Required:

• Strong data analysis, data mapping, and transformation expertise.
• Proficiency in SAP MDG, SAP S/4 FICO, and Oracle platforms.
• Experience with data quality management, data governance, and reconciliation across financial platforms.
• Solid understanding of finance industry regulations and data management principles.
• Strong project management skills and the ability to work across functional teams in an Agile environment.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
