Role Summary:
The Technical Director will lead platform evolution, feature migration, horizontal scalability, and customer adaptations, while also acting as a strategic enabler for innovation, research, and talent development.
The role blends technical depth, product vision, and leadership to balance current commitments and future readiness.
Responsibilities
A. Strategic ResponsibilitiesGrowth, Vision & Innovation:
- Act as a growth enabler with the Head of Department through well-designed POCs.
- Anticipate technological shifts and drive early prototypes to ensure future readiness.
- Envision platform and product capabilities aligned with long-term strategy.
Research, Talent & Funding:
- Mentor and develop Technical Architects and Product Owners.
- Shape university and research collaborations aligned with platform strategy.
- Front-end with stakeholders to support funding and investment decisions for new problem areas.
B. Operational ResponsibilitiesPlatform & Architecture:
- Lead rapid feature migration and platform evolution.
- Architect horizontally scalable, multi-tenant systems.
- Define reference architectures and ensure technical governance.
Customer Enablement & Delivery:
- Drive customer adaptations across TL, TSR, and MAV.
- Enable platform localization and fast POC deployments.
- Ensure predictable delivery of current customer and platform commitments.
Dual Focus Execution:
- Balance delivery excellence today with building future technologies in parallel.
Key Skills & Competencies

Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or Computer Science
- Experience with ADAS (Automotive domain)
- 12+ years of experience with 5+ years in senior technical leadership roles
