Job Description

Design, train, and optimize advanced NLP, computer vision, and LLMbased models for automating permitting and regulatory workflows.
Build AI systems that interpret building codes, zoning rules, and permit documents at scale.
Develop computer vision pipelines for processing architectural drawings, PDFs, and scanned documents.
Collaborate with engineering and MLOps teams to deploy models into secure, scalable production environments.
Define performance metrics and implement CI/CD + MLOps pipelines for continuous training, evaluation, and monitoring.
Experiment with cuttingedge techniques such as RAG, embeddings, and multimodal AI.
Translate complex regulatory requirements into accurate, reliable AI workflows.
Drive innovation and provide strategic technical leadership in a fastscaling startup.

The Successful Applicant

8+ years of strong experience in AI/ML engineering with proven endtoend model development.
Deep expertise in NLP, transformers, embeddings, RAG, and Computer Vision/OCR.
Handson experience finetuning and deploying LLMs in production environments.
Proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks like TensorFlow and PyTorch.
Strong familiarity with MLOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, model monitoring).
Excellent problemsolving skills and comfort working in fastpaced, iterative start-up environments.
Bonus: Experience with regulatory, compliance, or permitting datasets.
