Bachelors, M.S. (preferred) or Ph.D. (preferred) in Data Science, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Optics, or related quantitative fields.
- Lead the design and development of generative AI models for new product development, particularly leveraging LLM and LMM AI models.
- Proven experience in applying generative AI, LLMs, and multi-modal models to solve real-world problems in the medical device industry or equivalent industry and/or academic experience.
- Demonstrable expertise in algorithm development, including, coding, algorithm testing, algorithm validation, and software development for Medical Device.
- Utilize tools such as AWS Bedrock, Azure AI Studio, and other cloud-based platforms to deploy, manage, and optimize AI models.
- Apply advanced data science techniques, including natural language processing (NLP), computer vision, and machine learning, to solve complex problems and enhance product functionality.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and proven ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary project teams is highly desirable.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English.
- Proficiency in Python programming and data science libraries (e.g., NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch).
- At least 3 years of hands-on working experience in applying AI/ML methods for real-world problem solving in the medical device industry or equivalent industry experience.
